Who Can Be Hypnotised?
Anybody can be hypnotised. Going into hypnosis is as easy as daydreaming. If you are able to relax your mind, then you are able to enter into hypnosis.

Is Hypnotherapy Safe?
Yes. It is natural, safe and has no harmful side effects. Hypnosis has been approved by The British Medical Association (BMA) for more than 40 years. The BMA declared it as an integrative practice, in other words one that can be included along side standard medical disciplines.

What does the hypnosis feel like?
It is an extraordinary relaxing state, rather like a pleasant daydream. You are conscious of your surroundings and aware of everything that is happening throughout the session. The brain wave patterns of people in hypnosis show alert wakefulness.

Can I get ‘stuck’ in hypnosis?
Never. Should the need arise, you can come out of hypnosis any time you choose.

Will I be in the hypnotherapist’s power?
Nobody can be hypnotised against his or her will. Hypnosis is an alliance between you and the therapist and as such you remain in complete control at all times. When hypnotised, you will reject any suggestions given if they conflict with your values or beliefs. Similarly, you will not say anything in hypnosis that you would not normally wish to reveal.
